Groupage

I’m sure that one of the reasons that I was voted for as guild leader is people’s experience of me making things happen in Lotro. We never had fancy titles like Events officer, we never even had the notion of such glorification – people posted on the Worlds Away forum what they wanted to do and gathered groups. For whatever reason, over time, most of the events organisation was set up by me.

Both Tal and I have posted that we’re fed up with running solo (social players, us?). And I think we’re just the more vocal elements of the community, I’m sure other people had similar feelings. I’m still finding my way to get the best system in place, but lists like the Planetary groupage post should help people figure out who is in a similar boat and might be up for some teamwork. Similarly the Mumblers channel with the Malinorni should open up possibilities for increased groupage – however I’m not sure how much people are using it, and I fear that if we don’t use it, we’ll lose it, as the old saying goes.
